Having grown up in the working class, Nicholas uses songwriting as both catharsis and self-discovery. He believes "that there is an ideal, honest way to live and through the writing process, I'll be able to find it".

With the release of his new EP "The Greatest Enemy”, Nicholas looks set to get back on the road and reconnect with audiences. To him, rediscovering that connection between audience and performer is "the best feeling on earth and I want to keep chasing it".

Terrible Luck

Writing music has always been a very personal process, documenting the different phases of my life.

Terrible Luck focuses on transience in my life and processing loss as a result. It's a last goodbye to a part of myself I'm choosing to lose in exchange for something new.

I can't wait for you to hear these new songs, where I'm trying to mash up my signature folksy tinges with much more electronic elements. I dare say they're some of the best songs I've written in a while.

I released two singles “Down The Way” & “Terrible Luck” from the batch late 2017 in conjunction with a 14 date European tour. Thanks to all of you, the second single Terrible Luck has garnered over 50 thousand plays on Spotify to date!

Currently, I’m finishing up the other songs and would love to have your help to see the fruition of this record.

[Update 21.09.2019: Half of the album has been completed and mixed so far! Basic structures of the remaining 5 songs are done and I’m in the process of producing them i.e. writing the additional instrumentation =) I’m also considering releasing acoustic versions of several songs as well. ]
